Conference microphones are an important tool at meetings & conferences
It is important that the microphones for use at conferences and meetings deliver clear sound, are easy to operate and that they are adapted to the needs of the meeting participants.
If you are faced with having to plan a meeting or major conference in 2024, the use of microphones is one of the things that often needs to be considered. If it is a small meeting, a small number of microphones may need to be used in a meeting room, while a large number may need to be used at a larger conference. It is all about the communication the meeting participants must be able to have with each other. Below you can read about what is a good idea to decide on the use of conference microphones and read about the different types of conference microphones that we most often rent out to our customers.
What should you consider when renting and using microphones for meetings & conferences?
Consider the type of communication you would like your meeting participants to be able to have with each other using the microphones.
Conference microphones from BOSCH
Teletech is an official dealer of BOSCH professional conference systems and has many years of experience in renting BOSCH conference microphones.
BOSCH has for many years been a manufacturer of professional conference microphones as part of their conference systems. The microphones have been developed for use at everything from small meetings to very large international conferences. The microphones are table microphones for both speakers, meeting participants and interpreter microphones for interpreters, if this is needed. BOSCH also offers a wide range of meeting tools such as hybrid integration between their physical conference systems for remote participants, as well as meeting moderation and voting via some types of microphones.
BOSCH Dicentis
The Dicentis microphones from BOSCH deliver professional sound quality and advanced meeting functions for your upcoming meeting & conference. The microphones are available both wired and wireless. For larger conferences, the cable is most often used. The units have a built-in color screen, which e.g. can be used for voting etc. Available with NFC card reader, for unique participant identification. Also available with language selection if simultaneous interpretation is used. Two participants can share a microphone and still listen to two individual languages. The microphones have built-in speakers.
BOSCH CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System
The BOSCH CCS 1000 microphones are perfect for both small and medium-sized meetings. They are easy to operate and offer, among other things, integration with dome cameras (automatic camera that focuses on the speaker). The audio from the meeting can easily be recorded on a USB key. The meeting can be easily moderated using e.g. app for tablets. The microphones have built-in speakers.
BOSCH CCS 900 Ultro Discussion System
The BOSCH 900 Ultro microphones are suitable for small and medium-sized meetings. They are incredibly user-friendly and offer easy MP3 recording of the meeting (on SD card) using the system's control unit. The units offer a “Possible to speak” function using the unit's button. The system is easy to set up and expand with more microphones if this becomes necessary.
BOSCH Flush mounts (built-in) microphones
It is also possible to buy BOSCH microphones for table installation in meeting rooms and the like. The systems contain many of the same functionalities that the other conference microphones offer. BOSCH built-in microphones are available in several different sizes and models.
BOSCH Interpreting microphone
If you need interpretation for your upcoming event, BOSCH Dicenti's interpreting microphones offer advanced tools for the interpreters, while also being very user-friendly. The microphones can support up to 100 languages, offer "presets" for the interpreters, as well as a large color screen for easy operation.
Other types of conference microphones
In addition to the traditional conference microphones from BOSCH, there may also be a need for e.g. other types of wireless microphones and lectern microphones.
DPA Headset microphone
The DPA headset microphones are ideal for speakers who want total freedom of movement on stage or would like to be able to move around in a larger meeting room. The microphones are small and do not weigh very much, which makes them comfortable to wear. They are connected to the beltpack transmitter, which the speaker usually has mounted on his belt or in his pocket.
Wireless microphones - handheld, clip-on or on a stand
Shure & Sennheiser are known for their microphones and we rent several different types of wireless models - both handheld and clip-on with beltpack. Both options make it easy for speakers to move around freely while presenting. Clip-on, which e.g. mounted on a tie or on a shirt, provides the greatest freedom of movement. The hand-held microphones can also be mounted on a stand that stands on the stage.
Lectern microphone
If speakers are to present from a lectern, a lectern microphone can also easily be set up on the lectern itself.
Catchbox microphone
If you want a different interaction with your audience, you can choose to use a Catchbox microphone . The microphone consists of a kind of foam square in which a microphone is mounted. Speakers can then throw this to their audience for comments and the audience can then pass it on to each other.
