When do you use an LED large screen?
An LED big screen (often called an LED wall) is a screen that is built up using individual bright LED panels. The screen has the advantage of delivering fantastic images, even in rooms with lots of light.
LED walls are used in many places
You are probably already familiar with LED large screens (LED walls) from e.g. outdoor advertising, concerts etc. Led walls can be used with advantage in these places, as they are very bright. Led walls, however, are also very suitable for indoor use, which is why they, for example used at events, meetings and conferences. In addition, you can also see the screens used by companies in halls at e.g. reception area, in auditoriums and the like.

The advantage of renting an LED big screen is that you don't need to dim or dazzle the light in the room and you don't need a screen and projector. You can therefore also not block the image as you know it from a traditional projector (if the cone of light is blocked). The LED wall delivers a high resolution and strong colors, which makes it suitable for all kinds of content. Another advantage of using LED walls is that you can easily scale them in size, as they are made up of individual panels.

How does an LED large screen (LED wall) work?
LED walls are built from individual panels (squares) on which are mounted a large number of small LEDs, each emitting light. Each panel is connected in series to the other panels and the image production is controlled by powerful computers.

An LED wall is made up of several smaller LED panels.
On the panels, each LED is surrounded by black plastic, so that its light is sent outwards into the room. In this way, beautiful images with high contrast can be created. The images on the screen are controlled by computers, which split the images into smaller parts and distribute them on the screen into a large image on the entire surface of the screen.
Screen resolution
The resolution of the screen is provided by the many LEDs on each panel. You can compare the LEDs with the pixels you know from the computer screen. The more pixels (LEDs), the higher the image resolution. It is important to remember that the closer your audience will be to the screen, the higher the screen resolution should be. You work here with the concept of pixel pitch. Here, greater density of diodes equals a lower pixel pitch. A lower pixel pitch is therefore an advantage if the large LED screen must also be clearly visible up close.
Choose the right size LED screen
Choosing the right size LED wall depends on several factors. There is therefore no formula for choosing the right size. However, we outline below how e.g. can use LED walls in different sizes.
The small
If you want to create an eye-catcher and reach your participants with very clear images that must be larger than large LED screens (flat screens), a smaller LED wall can be an option. It may also be that you want the wall to have a certain format, which an LED screen does not allow. Such an arrangement of an LED wall can, for example, used at exhibition stands or the like. Note, however, that the screen's resolution is best for standing at least two meters from it.
The medium-sized and large
A medium-sized or large LED wall will most often be used in e.g. larger meeting rooms or meeting rooms, as you know them from hotels and venues. Here the screen can be used to create very clear images for presentations. The advantage of an LED wall is that it delivers very clear images even in light-filled rooms. In this way, you do not need to dim the light to the same degree as you know it from using projectors. It is also a clear advantage that you do not block images in the same way as you know from a projector, where the image is projected onto a screen.
