How do I rent the right projector?
The answer to this depends on where and what you will be using the projector for. Therefore, first consider the size of the meeting room, number of participants and lighting conditions.
Rent the right projector
When you need to rent the right projector, it is important that you do not rent one that is too small or too large for your particular task. If you simply want to rent a projector for a smaller meeting room, with a few meeting participants, then a small projector that is easy to set up and delivers a good image is the answer. If, on the other hand, you have to project at a longer distance and for many participants in e.g. a conference hall, then a bright and larger projector is what you need. Below we review small, medium and large projectors so that you can better determine which type you need to rent.
Small and medium-sized projectors
Small and medium-sized projectors are ideal for smaller meetings with few participants and medium-sized rooms.
Smaller projectors
If you need to rent a projector for a smaller meeting room for a smaller image, then you simply need a small projector that, for example, can be placed on the meeting table itself or on a stand. It is also important to take canvas into account ( read more about choosing canvas here ). Remember that renting a LED screen (flat screen) mounted on a stand is also an option for use in smaller meeting rooms or the like.
Medium-sized projectors
A medium-sized projector is suitable for medium-sized rooms with more meeting participants than for the small meeting. This type will typically be brighter, as it must also project over a longer distance and deliver a larger image.
Large bright projectors
This type of projector can deliver very large images projected over a long distance in large auditoriums and conference halls.
Large projectors
If you need to hire a projector for a conference hall with many participants, you need a large and bright projector. It can deliver very large images, so you are sure that all participants can see the content clearly and distinctly. Often you will use two bright projectors on each side of the stage or on a screen above the stage and speakers. Read more about choosing projector screens here . Typically, this type of projector will be mounted in a truss (stand), in the ceiling or similar. If you want to be able to create very wide images, several projectors can be linked together to form an even larger image.
Take the lighting conditions into account
When renting a projector, you must always take into account the light conditions in the room where it will be used. A projector is not well suited for projecting in fully lit rooms from artificial light or natural sunlight.
The light in the room
In most meeting rooms, you will often be able to dim the light either via dimmers or using curtains or the like. This is important as projectors project using light and therefore cannot deliver good images if there is a lot of light in the room.
If you want perfectly clear images in rooms with a lot of light, which you either can't or don't want to dim, you can consider renting an LED wall instead. Read more about what a led wall is here . It delivers razor-sharp images and is very bright.
Don't forget the canvas
