Hybrid meetings are here to stay
The possibility of holding hybrid meetings has existed for many years, but the development of recent years has really focused on the possibilities of connecting the physical meeting (with physical meeting participants and presenters) together with online participants and presenters. This is possible with the help of the right streaming solution, as well as the right physical AV solution combined with a number of smart virtual meeting functions.
How we define a hybrid meeting
For us a hybrid meeting is a meeting, conference or event where you combine one (or more) physical venues and meeting participants with online participants using live streaming. Live streaming is used both between the different venues (if there are several) and to stream the meeting to the many online participants.

Streaming is therefore a central part when talking about hybrid meetings, as it makes it possible to connect the physical meeting or conference with the online part. Further down you can read more about streaming.
Virtual tools for online participants
Our hybrid meeting solutions offer a range of virtual meeting tools that enable online participants to participate almost as if they were present at the conference. They can e.g. vote, make presentations and receive interpretation in their preferred language
AV solutions and interpretation at the physical venue As described, a physical venue is always linked at a hybrid meeting. AV must be used as you know it from the traditional meeting and here too Teletech can help you with the right AV setup too - exactly as we have done for over 35 years.
Live streaming - reach a wider audience
Small & large live streaming productions
Teletech offers everything from the smaller streaming production from a small meeting where there may not be a need for more than one camera to a fixed image setting of presenters to much larger solutions for e.g. conferences. Here , several cameras are often used to cover an entire conference hall, as well as create the right image productions of presenters, panelists and conference participants and more.
The streaming is integrated on the website
The streaming signal can be displayed on your hybrid meeting's own website using an iframe (frame that is integrated on the website).
If your event does not have its own website, Teletech provides one (or more, if there are, for example, several parallel presentations) link where the online participants can watch the streaming via their computer, tablet or smartphone.
The right branding – title signage, side-by-side presentations, etc.
You have the option of branding the streaming with your or the event's logo on the screen, just as there is also the option of producing title signage for the presenters.
PowerPoint can also be produced side-by-side, where the speaker is seen on one side of the screen and an enlarged version of the speaker's PowerPoint (or Keynote, etc.) is seen on the other side of the screen. Teletech also ensures image production with nice image transitions if several cameras are used.
Video on demand (VOD)
It is also possible to save the live streaming so that it can be viewed at a later time. This gives the opportunity to reach an even wider audience. With VOD, your videos can also be branded with e.g. conference logo etc. as well as title signage for speakers and PowerPoint side-by-side can be produced.
Checklist for renting live streaming
- What are the benefits of using live streaming? (Live streaming should reach more participants).
- Do you want to stream from several rooms at the same time? (At conferences etc.).
- Can one camera cover what you want to stream or are more needed?
- If there is a need for more cameras, would you like an image production that resembles a TV production? (With camera panning, transitions between image sources, etc.).
- Would you like to have title signage under the speakers on screen with their name and title?
- Would you like a logo on the screen?
- Remember well in advance to inform your participants that your event is being live streamed and how they can watch it.
- After the event, do you want both the physical participants and remote participants to have access to your live streaming using Video on demand (VOD) and for how long?

If remote interpretation is required, we use the RSI (remote interpretation) solution from the Congress Rental Network. There are many advantages to this. The software is easy to use, it has advanced functionality and most participants are probably already familiar with the user interface.
This means that they do not have a steep learning curve. All our hardware is professional and our AV technicians have many years of experience. We help you all the way before and during your event. We offer technical support for your delegates, speakers and interpreters using the solution. Our technicians operate the solution, help moderators and create a professional production. Furthermore, we can adapt the solution to your needs.
Remote interpretation for your hybrid meeting
If you need remote interpretation this can be provided via the Congress Rental Network software and app. Our technicians set up the languages needed for your meeting or conference, and your delegates can use their mobile phones as receivers via the Congress Rental Network app - whether they are physically present or online. You can also choose to offer your physical participants the traditional BOSCH receivers and headphones. We can also help you find interpreters for the languages you need interpreted.
